World Record 2000 - Oman

The largest and most complex CRYSTAL CHANDELIER in the world at the time was acclaimed by the Guinness Book of Records. This CRYSTAL CHANDELIER we manufactured in 2000 for a mosque in Oman, weighs 9,000 kilograms, measures 8 metres across and is 14,5 metres high.

Its frame is made of stainless steel; all other components are of brass, sea-water-resistant aluminium, and plated with 24-carat gold. Its light is provided by 1,200 halogen lamps (75 watts). The chandelier even contains a staircase and platforms for maintenance purposes. It is decorated with around one million of the finest Swarovski crystals, sparkling like diamonds. To manufacture this unique chandelier we developed a three-dimensional presentation and construction.
