The New World Record Chandelier by FAUSTIG

We are proud to inform you of a new world record. After delivering the world's biggest chandelier for a mosque in Oman in the year 2000, we set a new record in December 2007.

Seven crystal chandeliers for a mosque in Abu Dhabi (Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque)

  • The world record chandelier = 10 metres in diameter, 15.5 metres high, weighing 12 tonnes, with 15,500 LEDs and an interior staircase for maintenance work
  • Two smaller versions of the same design, 7 metres in diameter, 12.5 metres high, 8 tonnes, with 9,500 LEDs and interior staircase
  • A chandelier of similar design, 4.3 metres in diameter, 6.5 metres high,  2 tonnes, with 1,200 LEDs
  • Three Smaller versions, 3.5 metres x 5.5 metres, 1.4 tonnes, 1,000 LEDs

All chandeliers are made from gilded stainless steel and gilded brass. The lighting was designed using dimmable LEDs, which combine minimal heat radiation with minimal power consumption and maximum service life.

The crystal panels studded with Strass in numerous different colours were designed by us and manufactured by Swarovski.

It is very difficult to imagine the breathtaking dimensions from a picture alone. 10 metres by 15.5 metres corresponds to a five-storey apartment building with a surface area of 100 square metres.
