Electrical Installation

Unless otherwise indicated in your order, our chandeliers are equipped with either sockets E14 or E27.

B15d bayonet sockets, US Candelabra and Japanese E17 sockets are also available for export without extra charge.

HAL means that the fitting is equipped with a 220V transformer (or 110V upon request) for 12V/10- 20W halogen bulbs.

Halogen fitted recess lamps .2 are delivered without the transformer. Some HAL lamps can be fitted with normal sockets upon request.

The cabling is suitable for 110-240 volts. All chandeliers conform to internationally valid norms and are duly certified.

Each chandelier is tested with 5000 volts.

Recommended Bulbs

Bulbs are not included in the chandelier price, but can be delivered at extra charge.

We recommend only clear candle bulbs, twisted or plain.

25W bulbs are adequate for normal illumination purposes, though 40W or 60W bulbs may also be used.

There are also high-voltage halogen lamps with E14 or E27 sockets (improved light efficiency with less power consumption and heat build-up, longer service life).

Where indicated we also use G9 sockets for G9 high-voltage halogen lamps.

Low-voltage halogen lamps need to be fitted with 12V/10-20W bulbs.

Dimmers

We recommend the use of largescale dimmers, with electronics that can be built into the switchboard panel if possible.

This enables bulbs of higher wattage to be used – they may be adjusted to suit your requirements, and the lower load also means that they last a lot longer.
